Learning to Teach Online
Whether you are an academician or a trainer who is planning to start teaching online, this course is useful for you. You may be wondering how to be a trainer, how to teach online, how to use ICT in teaching, whether you are a open university teacher/ professor or online instruction designer how to earn money online by teaching and so on, this course will be useful for you.
Course content:
Week 1: What is online teaching and why is it important? Overview of online ethnographies and technologies and their place in contemporary education.
Week 2: Open and Closed technologies: An examination of the pros and cons of the use of social media vs contained systems in educational contexts, and an examination of relevant activities.
Week 3: Planning online learning: Understand how to define your learning outcomes, develop appropriate online activities and assessment strategies, and to choose the right technology to use. These themes are continually revisited throughout the remainder of the course.
Week 4: Online learning activities: Types of online activities and teaching scenarios. Overview and exemplification of a range of fully online, blended and mobile learning scenarios, interaction and applications, and online resources and activities. Issues concerning accessibility and inclusivity also explored.
Week 5: Online assessment strategies. Aligning assessment with learning outcomes and designing assessments for learning. Considerations of using technology to enhance assessments – benefits to the instructor and the students. Design and purpose of standards-based assessment and rubrics. Issues concerning assessment feedback and practical affordances provided by technologies are explored.
Week 6: Online Resources. What role can online resources play in effectively supporting student learning? Understand how to find and use a range of Open Educational Resources (OER) in your class, and explore options for creating and your own online resources. Issues of Creative Commons and Copyright in online education are also discussed.
Week 7: Engaging and motivating students: Managing your time online as an instructor. Best practices discussed and identified for building an online community of learners.
Week 8: Evaluating Strategies. What are some evaluation methods for determining whether your course design change has been effective? Suggestions for ways of gaining feedback from students to inform your continued teaching practice and pedagogical decisions. How can learning analytics from the use of online technologies help you identify that your course design is helping meet your intended aims and outcomes?

May be it looks like the course for students only, however I disagree. Learning is a never ending process and it is related to function of our brain. Learning is a mental tool. We acquire a degree, a qualification but our learning continues for the whole life. I believe, this course will be helpful for a general students including students learning physics, mathematics or students preparing for CAT/ GMAT or competitive exams and how to crack such courses. It is also useful for managers and executives handling new responsibilities and they need to learn it in order to get success.

Powerful Tools for Teaching and Learning: Digital Storytelling
So, this is again a course beneficial for trainers, human resources professionals, ICT professionals and those who want to enter into online teaching and online training. It is also a good tool for enhancing communication skill. Even if you are not interested in those career but need to often do a skype meeting or video conferencing meeting and directing people remotely, this course is a handy tool.

Applying Principles of Behavior in the K-12 Classroom
So if you are a teacher, even a B.Ed degree holder still looking for an international training in teaching, this course is useful for you. It is also useful for the people interested in understanding psychology and behavioural science, understanding behaviours of the teens and teaching methodology. In this class you will learn how to conduct a functional behavior assessment (FBA) and apply principles of behavior in the public school classroom in order to promote positive classroom behavior and intervene effectively when faced with challenging behavior
Course content
Week One: Introduction to Principles of Reinforcement and Punishment including an overview of concepts surrounding positive and negative reinforcement to increase or maintain behavior and punishment to decrease behavior.
Week Two:Foundations of Functional Behavior Assessment includes a discussion on what constitutes functions of behavior and an introduction to the direct method of functional behavior assessment.
Week Three: Conducting and Analyzing the Functional Behavior Assessment where you will learn how to conduct your own functional behavior assessment and analyze the results.
Week Four: Developing Function Based Intervention Methods includes a discussion of how changes to antecedents and consequences of challenging behavior can be made and how to reinforce replacement behaviors.
